Dowie Family Baptisms

Robert William Dowie was baptised 12th November 1847 at All Saints Church Lambeth. The family were now living at Griffin Street Lambeth.

George Edward Dowie was baptised 23rd May 1858 at Trinity Church Lambeth. The family were now living at South Street Lambeth.





Clarissa Caroline Dowie was baptised 26th June 1859 at Trinity Church Lambeth. The fanily had now moved to 55 Webber Row Lambeth.



Eliza Catherine Dowie was baptised 3rd April 1864 at Trinity Church

Trinity Church Lambeth Many of George and Clarissa Dowie's children were baptised at Trinity Church Lambeth. George and Clarissa were also married here in 1846. The church was built in 1837 but was bombed during WW2 and fell into deline. It was demolished in 1954. The photo shows the last appointed minister shortly before demolition.
